Gay activists create flash mob inside Target
A group of activists performed a musical flash mob inside Target, after the corporation donated $150,000 to the political campaign of an anti-gay Republican candidate.
Target has been under fire from gay rights groups for the donation. According to the LA Times, this is the first case in this election cycle that a company receives national protests over a donation.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court ruled that corporations can use treasury funds to fund election campaigns.

A flashmob infiltrates the Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco and performs an adaptation of Lady Gaga’s song “Bad Romance.” The event was organized to draw attention to a boycott called by the workers of the hotel who are fighting to win a fair contract and affordable healthcare. Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer activists put the song and dance together as a creative way to tell the hundreds of thousands of LGBTQ people from all over the country coming to San Francsico in June for Pride to stay out of the boycotted hotels.

Gay swans set up nest at British swannery
Two male swans have ruffled feathers at the world’s only swannery in England after they set up a love nest together, reports The Telegraph.
The happy couple at Abbotsbury Swannery are the only homosexual swans among more than 1,000 birds at the reserve. They are believed to be only the second male pair ever to hook up at the reserve. The pair show no interest in their female companions and only have eyes for each other.
Manager of Abbotsbury Swannery, John Houston, said: “The swans have been nesting together like this for several years and they get together every nesting season and form a nest together.. They sit on the nest and act in every way as if they were a pair expecting to lay eggs.”
Like most couples, the swans are known for the occasional lover’s tiff, but are quick to sort out their differences.
“They just always stay together and I hear that they have some spectacular fights with each other, but they always make up and get back together,” said Mr Houston.
