Gay Soldiers Don’t Cause Disruption, Study Says
The New York Times reports that a study called “Gays in Foreign Militaries 2010: A Global Primer,” will be released Tuesday by the Palm Center, a research group at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The study focuses on foreign militaries that have began to allow openly gay men to serve. The study concludes that “a speedy implementation of the change is not disruptive.” Pentagon officials have suggested the direct opposite, suggesting a year or more to repeal the don’t ask, don’t tell policy in the United States.
